Allyson Kempner, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Allyson Kempner is a New York State licensed and nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Allyson received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master's Degree of Science from New York University.  She is also certified in the Orton-Gillingham literacy program. 

Allyson has experience working in a variety of settings, including public schools and private practices. She assesses and treats children with articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, and social language disorders. Allyson also specializes in literacy intervention. She uses a multi-sensory approach to help children learn and master their goals.

Allyson implements a team approach and believes that therapy works best when there is collaboration between teachers, parents, students, and other therapists.  She believes that children learn best when they are motivated and engaged. Therefore, Allyson creates individualized lesson plans that incorporate topics of interest and specific speech and language goals for each child.
