Korrin Sheahan, M.S. CF-SLP, TSSLD

Korrin is a speech-language pathologist primarily working with preschool and school age children. She earned her Bachelors and Master's degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University. She completed a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship in Athens, Greece where she worked with English language students with a range of learning differences prior to moving to New York City where she just completed her clinical fellowship with NYCPS. Her purpose for pursuing the field of SLP flourishes from being a lifelong learner and advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Throughout her journey in speech-language pathology, she has sought diverse clinical experiences working with individuals across the lifespan who present with a wide range of communication and feeding needs. Her experience includes assessment and intervention for language disorders, speech sound disorders (articulation and phonology), fluency, feeding, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder, and social communication skills. As a lifelong learner, she is committed to staying current with evidence-based practices and integrating the latest research into her clinical approach to provide high-quality, individualized therapy.

Korrin works part-time at My Speech Matters and enjoys working with her clients and families, creating a foundation built on a culturally responsive, child-centered approach.
