About Us

At Speech Matters, we believe that communication is at the heart of connection, confidence, and everyday life.

Behind the table is a blue chair, and the room has a mint green wall with a white electrical outlet and a white ring mirror hanging from a stand on the table. There is a wooden shelf against the wall holding a box of small drawers and other storage containers.

“I’m Linda Bejoian,

a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Speech Matters. I created this practice with a clear vision: to provide therapy that is not only evidence-based, but deeply personalized and meaningful in real life.

Over the course of my career, I observed that many individuals were able to demonstrate skills within structured therapy sessions, but struggled to apply those skills in everyday situations. This insight became the foundation of how Speech Matters operates today.

Our approach prioritizes real-world outcomes. Whether we are supporting a young child developing language, a student navigating social communication, or an adult working on clarity and confidence, our focus is always on helping clients communicate effectively in the environments that matter most.”

Our Mission:

To help individuals communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively in their daily lives.

At Speech Matters, we believe:

• Therapy should be functional and practical, not just clinic-based

• Progress should be measurable and meaningful

• Clients and families should feel informed, supported, and empowered

When you work with us, you can expect:

• Clear, structured therapy plans with defined goals

• Evidence-based, individualized treatment approaches

• Collaboration with families, educators, and other professionals

• A strong emphasis on generalization - ensuring skills transfer beyond the therapy room

We value building genuine relationships with our clients, as trust and connection are essential for meaningful progress.
